CaratLane is one of the top five leading online jewellery stores in India. They reached out to us when they were in the process of redesigning their mobile web and app experiences. The objective was for us to provide another perspective to aid the internal team in making decisions regarding the checkout experience. It was meant to be a short two-week project, but ended up extending to a full month.
We proposed various ideas to help the checkout process including the various scenarios involved there, such as placing an order online and getting it delivered, placing the order and having it picked up from a nearby store, various configurations of packaging, size requests, customisation options, etc. To arrive at the right solutions, we analysed their customer support tickets and calls and then proposed the right solutions based on business needs.
